Ants and cockroaches can sometimes be eliminated, or at least reduced, from a house by filling cracks and other spaces with cotton balls that have been soaked in a mixture of equal parts of borax, sugar and water. The insects are attracted to the sugar, but the borax causes severe health problems for them. Created September 30, 2006. |
