How to   Clean Toothbrushes

Toothbrushes can accumulate not only dirt but also bacteria and viruses. Thus, it is wise to clean them occasionally. The first step should always be to remove any visible particles that become stuck in the bristles, using a toothpick, scissors point or whatever else is handy, and then washing with water.

This should be followed by a more thorough cleaning. One way to do it is to soak the end of the toothbrush with the bristles in hydrogen proxide for an hour or so to kill any remaining germs. The toothbrush should then be rinsed thoroughly in water and it is ready to use again.
